“Everyday I’m Hustling!” – Creating Multiple Streams of Income with Your Social Work License!

 

Learning Objectives:

 

1.       Provide knowledge on multiple areas for LMSWs/LCSWs to earn multiple streams of income and create financial stability.

2.      Increase understanding of the difference between the two licensures and how this impacts the ability to increase income.

3.      Provide knowledge on the key to promoting self within the realm of the social media area.

 

About Our Presenter: DeAvila Bennett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Memphis, TN. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and Master of Social Work from the University of Memphis. DeAvila works as a Therapist in private practice as well as a School Social Worker with children and families dealing with mental illness and familial conflict. DeAvila often utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy with her clients to aid them in understanding their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Behavioral Health at Freed-Hardeman University.

DeAvila has a YouTube channel (Ask DeAvila Sadé) where she provides information regarding mental health and navigating through life’s experiences in a healthy manner. DeAvila has a blog (askdeavilasade.com) where she writes about mental health topics impacting today’s society. She is a published author of 'The Therapeutic Journal.' This journal consists of 30 prompts to aid individuals in processing their personal feelings associated with their past traumas, present fears, and future. She is also the co-host to Everyday We L.Y.T. Everyday We L.Y.T. is a podcast that was created to aid individuals in "Living. Your. Truth." The podcast covers topics such as mental health, sex, colorism, insecurities, etc. DeAvila is a public speaker for mental health and facilitates groups throughout the Greater Memphis area.
