Presenter: Ms. Bewindi Bobb, LCSW

Bewindi was born and raised in St. Lucia, located in the Eastern Caribbean and has traveled to Nigeria, West Africa where she stayed three weeks.  Bewindi has lived in St. John, U.S.V.I., Columbus, Ohio, St. Louis, MO and has been in Memphis, TN since August 2006.  Bewindi presents with a dynamic personality fueled with the force of her Faith in Jesus Christ, her drive, her desire to encourage others accented with an infectious smile and laughter.  She is a humbled Licensed Clinical Social Worker who serves as a Behavioral Health Care Manager with Anthem/Amerigroup where she helps to advocate for quality care and assists with coordinating care for children and adolescents in Residential Treatment Facilities and in acute settings.

Prior to Anthem, Bewindi served as a Director of Adults’ Services @ Case Management Inc, worked @ Support Solutions of the Mid-South where she helped start their first IOP program for adults with mental illnesses and intellectual disabilities and has served @ Methodist North as a discharge planner.  The first eight years of her career post grad-school were spent at Youth Villages, where her last role was a Clinical Trainer and Consultant and was honored to lead and train several staff in Massachusetts, Mississippi, Oregon, Miami, Indiana, and Tennessee.  

Bewindi understands her God-ordained purpose is to be a Counselor, An Encourager and a Leader, thus most recently in November 2017, she was graced to start her own Private Practice, Against All Odds Professional Counseling Services and because of her faith and the favor of God on her life, has maintained a full caseload.  Bewindi values service with Compassion, a spirit of Excellence and Integrity as she believes that Leadership is Service. Bewindi absolutely loves clinical work, loves to train, teach, facilitate wonderful conversations, engage in conceptualization, counsel, coach, exercise, nature, laugh travel and overall have a wonderful time.
