Presentation title: Integrating Behavioral Health and Primary Care to Better Serve Children and Families        

Presenter: Florence Hervery, MSW, MA, Chief Executive Officer, Case Management, Inc.

 

Case Management, Inc. provides integrated behavioral and primary health services for children and adults in the Memphis and Shelby County area.

 

Integrated care is the systematic coordination of physical and behavioral healthcare. Integrating mental health, substance abuse, and primary care services produces the best outcomes and proves the most effective approach to caring for people with multiple healthcare needs.

 

Objectives:

 

·         Participant will learn about the primary care and behavioral health services at Case Management, Inc. for children, youth, and adults.

·         Participant will understand the critical elements for providing effective integrated primary care and behavioral health from the experience of Case Management, Inc.

 

 

Florence Hervery is Chief Executive Officer at Case Management Inc. Ms. Hervery received her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Memphis in 1998. She has a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources from Webster University and an MSW from the University of Memphis. Additionally, Ms. Hervery serves on the Board of Directors for the Mid-South Food Bank.
